Summary The Biology Department at Barry University is currently accepting applications for Laboratory Teacher Assistants. This is a part-time student-employee position at the main campus and placement is contingent upon courses meeting 15 student minimum. This position is to be performed in person. The Laboratory Teaching Assistant must be an upper-level undergraduate or graduate science major, who has exhibited outstanding competency and/or experience in their content areas. They will provide administrative and instructional support to faculty members and students. Duties will include: assisting with lab preparations/cleanup, grading, and holding open labs/review sessions outside of the scheduled lab time. Must have earned an "A" or "B" grade in the subject area. Positions are assigned for a variety of lab courses including but not limited to: Anatomy, Physiology, Cell Biology, Genetics, General Biology I and II, Microbiology, Botany, and Zoology.
