Working/Functional Title Human Resources Business Partner: Position Summary: The Office of Research and Innovation (OR&I) is a Major Administrative Unit (MAU) with more than 500 employees who support MSUs research and creative activity by administering research funding, ensuring research integrity for both faculty and students, providing grant support services, fostering collaboration, licensing university inventions, and overseeing regulatory compliance. This position serves as the primary human resource contact for assigned centers/institutes within the MAU, partnering with the MAU HR Manager to ensure consistency and best practice implementation within a shared services model. The position will oversee talent acquisition, performance management, staffing updates, disciplinary actions, and all HR-related functions for assigned centers/institutes. Duties will include: The salary range for this position is $75,000 to $90,000 annually.
