Overview Summary: Lays out, rigs up, builds, tests, troubleshoots, repairs and modifies oilfield production electronic components, parts, equipment, and systems, such as computer equipment, data acquisition instrumentation, flow tubes, densitometers, pressure transducers, test equipment, and other various hydraulic fracturing machinery and controls, applying principles and theories of electronics, electrical circuitry, mathematics, electronic and electrical testing. Responsibilities: Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following (Additional duties may be assigned as necessary): Troubleshoots, repairs and calibrates sensors at an entry to intermediate level, to include but not limited to: pressure, temperature, speed, density, viscosity, pH, level position, float, counting devices, hydraulic control, photo cells, flow rate, differential pressure, pressure switches under the direction and guidance of the Lead Electronics Technician and/or Supervisor. Performs use of Data Van control software to include: installation, configuration, and remote usage, pull and analyze log data files and configuration files from a Data Van or other unit.
