This position is posted to build our pool of applicants to be called as needed, it does not necessarily mean there is an immediate opening. Primary Responsibilities: The Interim Director of Nursing will verify the provision of quality care that promotes the highest practicable physical, mental and psychological well-being of each resident as determined by resident assessments and individual plans of care. Essential Functions: Responsible for interdisciplinary involvement in the development of plans of care to meet each resident's needs Oversee/direct/coordinate nursing staff to provide proper resident care consistent with standard nursing practices Keep current with the changes in all regulations related to resident care Communicate with attending physician and medical director regarding resident care issues as needed Assure provision of appropriate medication, treatments and nursing services according to care plan...
