DESCRIPTION OVERVIEW: The Mechanical Deign Engineer supports engineering teams by assisting with Work Definition (WD) entry, documentation preparation, and data management for new and existing product designs. This is an entry-level role focused on learning company systems, ensuring data accuracy, and supporting the release of engineering documentation for manufacturing RESPONSIBILITIES: Work Definition (WD) Support - Assist in creating and entering Work Definition (WD) data into PLM/ERP systems (e.g., Agile, Oracle). Support the setup of: - Bills of Materials (BOMs) - Part numbers and basic product structures - Verify data accuracy and follow established templates and guidelines. - Work with senior engineers to review and validate WD before release. Documentation Preparation & Release: - Assist in preparing documentation packages for new and updated designs, including: - Engineering drawings - Specifications - Basic assembly instructions - Support document release processes under guidance. - Maintain proper file organization and revision control.
