Employment Type: Full time Shift: Rotating Shift Description: PHARMACY TECH I SUMMARY: Under the direct supervision of a pharmacist, assists in the provision of pharmaceutical care to various customers by verifying the medication packaging process and outcomes. Practices within the scope of state and federal regulations. REQUIREMENTS: Must be licensed Pharmacy Tech with the Idaho State Board of Pharmacy or Oregon Board of Pharmacy, based on the state worked. National Certification (CPhT, ExCPT or equivalent) preferred with under 3 years’ experience. WHAT YOU WILL DO: Knows, understands, incorporates, and demonstrates the Organization's Mission, Vision, and Values in behaviors, practices, and decisions. Assists the pharmacist in preparing prescriptions, which includes various material resource management, dispensing, clerical, and billing duties. Revenue management: ensures the accuracy of documenting services and supplies provided to the patients. Participates in quality assurance and continuous quality improvement activities .
