In this role, you'll: You’ll provide strategic leadership to embed Aboriginal voices in Transport for NSW decision-making, program design and delivery. This includes leading a multi-disciplinary team focused on building and sustaining trusted partnerships with Aboriginal communities, Peak bodies, Service Providers and Aboriginal Community Controlled Organisations that advances equitable outcomes and Closing the Gap commitments across NSW. You’ll evaluate and continuously monitor projects, initiatives and funding opportunities to reduce transport disadvantage and to ensure Aboriginal communities are delivering programs and projects to meet their needs. You’ll co-design, drive and implement changes to strengthen future programs and initiatives that reduce the over-representation of Aboriginal people road fatalities and serious injuries.
