Job description

Summary: To assist the Room Attendants with the cleaning of assigned areas. Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned. 1. Assist in the cleaning of rooms, cabins and public spaces as outlined in the housekeeping manual and/or as directed by the Executive housekeeper. 2. Clean and maintain public areas, windows, ash urns, sidewalks and vending areas including ice, washers/dryers and vending machines. 3. Clean and maintain fireplaces, balconies and hallways. 4. Stock housekeeping carts and linen rooms. 5. Deliver welcome baskets to assigned areas. 6. Move furniture, as required. 7. Maintain cleanliness of all floors. 8. Maintain an awareness of all safety procedures and guidelines as they relate to guests and associates. 9. Be able to lift 75 pounds on a regular basis. 10. Provide professional, friendly service to all guests. 11. Ensure early morning newspaper delivery to rooms. 12. Perform other duties as required.
