The successful candidate will create policies and procedures that enable compliance and safety guidelines and regulations. This would include organizing safety training for all employees which includes specializes training for maintenance personnel, forklift operations, mechanical power presses and other specialized training initiatives. Identify company safety-training needs and develop/coordinate safety-training programs. Maintain documentation and record all training initiatives. The incumbent will be required to carry out assessments of potential risks and the means to abate existing and potential hazards.
