About Us The Albert Einstein College of Medicine invites applications for a faculty position at the Associate or Full Professor level in the Division of Biostatistics in the Department of Epidemiology and Population Health. The successful candidate will also serve as the Director of the Biostatistics, Epidemiology, and Research Design Resource (BERD) within the Harold and Muriel Block Institute for Clinical and Translational Research (ICTR). The ICTR, a partnership between the Albert Einstein College of Medicine and Montefiore Health System, has been continuously funded since 2008 by a Clinical and Translational Science Award from the NIH National Center for Advancing Translational Sciences. From its inception, the ICTR’s vision has been to improve the health of people in the Bronx and other communities by accelerating the translation of biomedical advances into effective and sustainable disease prevention and treatment strategies. The ICTR provides robust research infrastructure, including biostatistics, informatics, and other critical research cores and services, to promote the efficient translation of scientific discoveries into improved patient outcomes.
