Job Description Maintenance Planner– Port Colborne, Ontario: Location: Port Colborne Ontario Position Type: Salary - Full –Exempt Shift: Day shift – 6am to 3pm – Monday to Friday Compensation: Competitive hourly rate with comprehensive benefits, including health, vision, life. About the Role The Maintenance Planner will be responsible for daily oversight as well as long-term vision of maintenance strategies associated within the whole complex. This is a unionized facility of which the Maintenance Planner indirectly supervises approximately 14 hourly colleagues and is directly responsible to the to the Maintenance Superintendent. The successful candidate will need to exhibit a mastery of the following responsibilities: safety, quality assurance, food safety/environmental compliance, government legislations & laws, cost management, capital disciplines and colleague development. The Maintenance Planner will work with department supervisors to establish and/or maintain appropriate preventative maintenance for efficient operation of the plant.
