Wedgewood Pharmacy is seeking a Licensed New Jersey Pharmacist to join our team as a Temporary Compounding Lab Pharmacist. When will you work?: Hours for this position vary depending on business needs. Our Lab is open 7 days a week. Candidates must have open availability to work any am and pm shifts, as the schedule will change month to month. MUST be available to cover the second shift and work rotating weekends. What you'll do: - Directly supervise pharmacy activities of technical and non-technical staff and ensure these activities occur in accordance with USP 795, State Board of Pharmacy regulations, and company policies and procedures - Maintain systems to ensure that compounding team members are adequately trained on and are continually adhering to all measuring, mixing, packaging, and labeling steps described in formula instructions - Ensure patient safety by using clinical knowledge to verify the appropriateness of prescription orders, compounded batches,...
