Description Teller County's Department of Human Services located in Woodland Park, CO is seeking an experienced supervisor to provide leadership, coordination, and consultation in the planning and delivery of services for a unit/section that provides child welfare intake and prevention services and programs, including Youth in Conflict and Child Protection; position will be responsible for supervising 5-7 personnel. What You'll Do: (1) Plan, organize, implement and oversee work in assigned programs and functions. (2) Direct work of assigned staff to ensure unit and hotline coverage, efficiency, and effectiveness in managing caseload; assign specific duties according to staff knowledge and skill; provide supervision and consultation in accomplishing tasks; ensure staff compliance with training and certification requirements; provide written and verbal instructions to staff to explain policies and procedures to facilitate quality professional practices.
