Job Summary: Performs duties related to the movement of materials, mail, lab specimens, medical records, supplies and linens within Prisma Health facilities in keeping with predetermined schedules. Accountabilities: - Operates the courier vehicle/truck in accordance with written policies/procedures, state and local laws. Transports all materials between facilites in a timely manner as scheduled according to daily schedule, to include mail, lab specimens, clean linen, x-ray files, medical records and supply orders. - Responsible for routine maintenance of vehicles to include gas, oil, air, and etc. Reports all service and repair requirements to Supervisor. - At each facility, loads and unloads all material transported and delivers to designated area. Supervisory/Management Responsibility: This is a non-management job that will report to a supervisor, manager, director, or executive. Minimum Requirements: - High School diploma or equivalent Required Certifications/Registrations/Licenses: SC Driver's License with excellent driving record.
