Position Details: The University of Tampa's Athletic Department has a position available for an Assistant Athletic Trainer to provide athletic training services. This position reports to the head athletic trainer. Responsibilities: 1. Evaluate, treat, and provide rehabilitation of athletic injuries. 2. Review and document injuries. 3. Provide referrals for appropriate medical care. 4. Provide athletic training services on the field or court, at practices and events. 5. Manage insurance and other documentation necessary for proper medical care. 6. Contribute to a work environment that encourages knowledge of, respect for, and development of skills to engage with those of other cultures and backgrounds. Qualifications: 1. Bachelor's degree required, Master's degree preferred. 2. One year of NATABOC certified experience required. 3. Experience supervising and teaching student athletic trainers preferred. 4.
