Description The Department of Radiation Oncology at the Perelman School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania seeks candidates for several Instructor positions in the Academic Support Staff. This appointment will be initially for one (1) year and continuation during that time period and renewal are based on satisfactory performance and availability of funding (limited to three (3) years). Expertise is required in the specific area of proton therapy. Applicants must have an M.D. degree. Applicants are required to be Board Eligible for the American Board of Radiology. Responsibilities may include ongoing evaluation and management of patients diagnosed with cancer, and the delivery of radiation therapy-related care; conduct patient consultations and treatment across various cancer disease sites utilizing a variety of treatment modalities, including proton therapy. Role may include research activities, including initiating clinical trials.
