JOB SUMMARY: The primary purpose of this position is to support regional birthing facilities, health departments, providers, and key community partners to work collaboratively towards improving maternal and neonatal health outcomes in WNC region. The key strategies for this work include establishing a system to determine risk appropriate levels of maternal and neonatal care, promoting the development of collaborative systems that foster proactive integration of risk-appropriate antepartum, intrapartum, and postpartum care, and educating clinicians on the latest evidence-based information to facilitate the acquisition of knowledge and skills to provide risk-appropriate care during antepartum, intrapartum and postpartum periods. This position has an end date of May 31, 2027.
