Construction Accountant

Job description

As our Construction Accountant, you will provide direct financial support to our project teams throughout the construction project life cycle, partnering closely with project managers, subcontractors, and internal stakeholders to ensure accurate accounting, contract compliance, and timely financial reporting. In this role, you will help safeguard financial performance by managing subcontractor billing and compliance, tracking project costs, and supporting owner and subcontractor billings. Day‑to‑day, you will study owner and subcontractor agreements to interpret contract terms, process subcontractor invoices and pay applications, manage compliance documentation, and support monthly owner billings. You will work closely with project teams to allocate costs appropriately, monitor budgets, resolve billing or compliance issues, and ensure financial data is accurate, timely, and aligned with contract requirements.
