Process Manufacturing Engineer

Job description

Position Summary This position will play a key leadership role in developing and implementing processes for precision machined instruments and implants. The successful candidate will lead and participate on cross-functional teams concentrating on the delivery of new products and the improvement of repeat business processes. This role will include working with the operations, scheduling, customer service, and quality functions to successfully deliver orders on time while meeting quality and financial goals. The role requires the above to be accomplished within Tecomet’s principles of continuous improvement, customer driven innovation and a win first culture, while meeting company financial and other performance metrics. Principle Responsibilities: - Apply engineering and quality principles in support of manufacturing - Create methods of manufacture for new customer orders - Enter new part numbers into ERP system - Enter bill of material into ERP system; load new raw material part numbers (and confirm first delivery with purchasing group if applicable) - Enter operations and production standards into method of manufacture - Work with schedulers to select work centers based on most ef...
