Senior Manufacturing Engineer – Second Shift

Position Summary The Senior Manufacturing Engineer supports Carrier’s water-cooled applied chiller production operations by optimizing manufacturing processes, improving product quality, and ensuring efficient, safe, and reliable production performance. This role is hands-on and requires a seasoned professional who can work independently to troubleshoot mechanical issues, implement sequence of operations, and sustain world-class manufacturing standards. As a key technical lead for the second shift, you will play a vital role in maintaining throughput, reducing downtime, and driving continuous improvement across the plant. Key Responsibilities: Process Design & Optimization: Develop, evaluate, and improve manufacturing processes and component layouts to enhance manufacturability and ensure full utilization of equipment. Technical Troubleshooting: Respond urgently to unplanned events and mechanical issues on the production floor, diagnosing and solving complex problems to minimize downtime.
