Responsibilities Peraton is looking to add an experienced Senior AWS Cloud Developer to our ongoing development, maintenance, and data engineering team. We support the Commodity Futures Trading Commission (CFTC) Data Engineering and Processing (DEAP) project by providing analyses, solutions and maintenance of many processes that ingest financial market data used across multiple CFTC regulatory and analytical systems, including high‑volume, mission‑critical data ingest pipelines. These processes and the data ingested are critical to the mission of the CFTC. This position requires up to three (3) specific days onsite in the Washington DC facility and two (2) teleworking days per week. What You Will Do: - Serve as a member of an Agile team to provide engineering support and maintenance of services and processes that migrate and promote data and algorithms to the AWS cloud environment and supporting cloud databases. - Design, code, test and implement AWS cloud-based solutions - Work with the customer and Peraton team on requirements gathering and task estimation. - Perform routine data checks, code development and quality checks. - Perform database planning, design and implementation -...
