Receiving Operator

Job description

This position is at our Prairie Plant in Wilmington. The hours for this position are Monday to Friday, 1:00 PM to 9:00 PM. Pay Range: $21.50 per hour. Qualifications: - Operates forklift to safely unload inbound shipments of finished goods - Maintains paperwork for all loads - Verifies that inbound shipments are damage-free and match packing list exactly - Maintains clean and orderly conditions in warehouse and loading areas using workplace organization methods (i.e. 6S) - Participates in continuous improvement initiatives - Follow all safety and equipment handling procedures to ensure a safe working environment - Pull all rail kitting components to be shipped to offsite supplier - Load trucks for outbound shipments of components - Receive and unload the trucks of incoming rail kits from supplier - Assist in maintaining accurate inventory of incoming rail kits - Performs additional duties/tasks as assigned by supervision/management - High School Diploma or GED required - A minimum of 5 years of experience operating material handling equipment - Forklift Certification – either current or in prior work experience - Strong decision making, analytical skills and proven ability to work...
