Work Shift: Day (United States of America) Job Summary: The Patient Care Tech (PCT) is a care provider who functions under the direction of the registered professional nurse. The PCT assists other health care providers with safe, age appropriate and culturally aware care by performing basic patient care functions; ie ambulation, vital signs, phlebotomy, simple treatments and discontinuing foley catheters; transporting supplies/equipment/patient medications and performs other duties deemed necessary t ensure delivery of optimal care.
