Perform tasks, including metal material stretching, layout processes, and plate cleaning and de-burring. Read and interpret advanced blueprints and CAD drawings, solving problems as needed. Operate CNC machinery with the ability to download programs via disc, flash drive, or direct connect. Perform cuts and nesting activities as defined by production requirements. Build understanding of machining principles, assisting in operational efficiency and quality improvements. Safely operate overhead cranes and other heavy machinery to move and position materials.
