Job Description: We have a strong opportunity for a Senior Software Engineer to join a team in Fidelity Ireland’s Asset Management Technology group. The team designs, builds, and supports software for the High Income Alternatives area. Most of our systems are built and run on AWS. The Expertise We’re Looking For: We are looking for a Senior Software Engineer who cares about writing good-quality software. You should be comfortable writing clear, testable, and easy-to-maintain code. We expect experience in the following areas: Strong experience with Java-based backend systems, messaging, and web frameworks such as Spring Boot and Kafka. React//Typescript/Angular and state management tools like NGRX. Experience working in Agile teams and using CI/CD tools such as Jenkins. Good understanding of how to design systems that can scale and perform well. Solid experience with object‑oriented programming concepts. The Purpose of Your Role: In this role, you will write and maintain production code and work closely with other engineers and business partners.
