Summary Job Description: Surgery Orderly - PRN Responsible for maintaining the operating room environment and supplies; responsible for transporting surgical patients from their rooms to the operating room; and complies with the policies, principles and activities established by the Code of Conduct and the Corporate Compliance Program. Requirements: - Anticipate the need for equipment and supplies and assist with ordering supplies by notifying responsible party of items needed. - Stocks warmer with fluids and blankets; keep temperature in range for warmers for fluids and blankets, stocks anesthesia tubing and patient preps. - Completes transfers in a timely manner and transports patients with side rails up. - Assists with putting away supplies/stock and daily routine checks within the department and assist with room turnover: temps & humidity monitoring, cleans, mops, takes out trash as needed. - Maintain kind, courteous interactions with patient, family & staff. - High School Diploma/GED - Must be enrolled in CCDP program Work Experience: Education: If you would like to be part of a growing family focused on supporting clinical excellence, teamwork and innovation, we urge you to a...
