POSITION SUMMARY: Are you interested in becoming a part of an innovative in-house maintenance facility working on private aircraft? Flexjet, an award-winning organization, is currently looking for Apprentice Cabinetry Technicians to join our team for a career-focused, “earn while you learn”, on-the-job experience. DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES: Assist with: - Building, assembling, and finishing various components for the interior of the aircraft during refurbishment - Cabinets, galleys, lavatories, wardrobes, tables, etc. - Working with wood components and high-grade veneers - Working with composites and other light-weight materials - Remove and disassemble parts; assist with assembly and installation of replacement parts - Operate all power tools and equipment necessary to accomplish job assignments - Must support all company policies and safety programs to include Transport Canada regulations - Interpret technical manuals, drawings and blueprints; with some assistance - Communicate effectively with other personnel at all levels by keeping co-workers and leadership apprised of work progress and difficulties as they arise. - Work in accordance with established safety practices includin...
