Facility Maintenance

Job description

Overview This position will perform activities engaged in the maintenance and repair of facility structure, equipment, utility systems, and buildings. Comply with all sanitation and safety guidelines. In addition, this position will assist with the hands-on installation, maintenance, and testing of experimental research and development equipment associated with initial production, plant troubleshooting, and continuous improvement projects. Responsibilities: - Perform construction related duties such as the installation, removal, and repair of piping, tile, and concrete. - Remove, dismantling, or replace various equipment. - Follow specifications and blueprints. - Use measuring instruments, power tools, hand tools, and manuals. - May operate forklifts, hoists, and other heavy equipment. - Visually inspects and reports any areas requiring attention. - Bend and run process pipes for various projects. - Assist with snow removal and property maintenance as needed. - Ability to perform all essential job functions with or without reasonable accommodation. - Perform all other duties as assigned.
