Production Supervisor - Essentia - Night Shift - Harlan, IA

Job description

Position hours are 6 p.m. to 6 a.m. Position required to start 30 minutes prior to shift time. The Production Supervisor leads all activities of assigned team, including safety, quality, fulfillment, cost, and inventory. This position is responsible for ensuring all critical business aspects related to the assigned team while clearly communicating information to plant leadership. This role ensures production of a quality product, processing in accordance with mandated regulations, current Good Manufacturing Procedures (cGMP) and established company procedures. Education: High School Diploma or general education degree (GED)/high school equivalency test (HiSET). 2 or 4-year college degree preferred. Experience: Minimum five years’ experiences in manufacturing; and/or equivalent combination of education and experience required. Minimum three years of leadership experience required. Leadership in a food processing environment is preferred. Continuous improvement experience preferred.
