POSITION SUMMARY: The planner and inventory specialist must ensure procedures for scheduling and inventory are complied with in order to maximize customer service and efficiency of the Amherst facility. ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS: - Schedule production of parts in the Molded facility, which includes using Marmon Utility ERP system (Axiom) to maintain, review and release planned orders. - Coordinate with supervisors to prioritize important orders - Manage schedule postings for ease of access and clarity - Develop forecasting models for production recommendations - Conduct weekly cycle counts of raw materials and consumables - Identify, reconcile, and root cause analysis inventory discrepancies - Lead physical inventory twice a year - Work with purchasing to ensure supply of raw materials - Ensur...
