The incumbent will perform all duties associated with acquisition, processing, submission for interpretation, and archiving of MRI images, and will be responsible for the care of the patient while in the MRI area. Job Responsibilities: - Greet and interact with patients, visitors, vendors, and all faculty and staff. Perform MRIs and general radiological procedures: - Review imaging requests for appropriateness based on clinical information provided. Review all questionable orders with the radiologist and, at the radiologist’s discretion, the referring physician. - Position patient and select appropriate options to ensure best-case imaging based on accepted MRI standard of practice and institutional imaging protocols. - Observe patient while in the MRI area...
