Reporting to Team Lead Breeding Support Unit: Purpose: Preparation and support with the execution of breeding programs. Geographical scope: 1 country Operational level: Operational: Key accountabilities: 1. Preparation of the seed lots necessary for the breeding/screening trials. 2. Assistance in sowing, monitoring germination after sowing, pricking out and planting. 3. Execution of crossing programs and related activities on the instructions of the (Assistant) Breeder. 4. Routine seed preparation of disease tests (in cooperation with the Routine Disease Testing team), and routine leaf sample tests for diseases control in the lab and for marker testing. 5. Administrative processing of disease/marker test results and seed lots.
