Principal Engineer – CSGO (Data Platforms) - Location: Sydney or Melbourne Based - Hybrid Working Make your mark today!: We’re seeking a Principal Engineer to act as the senior‑most technical authority across Customer Solutions & Group Operations (CSGO) with our Data Platforms (DP) area within Westpac. You’ll own end‑to‑end technical design and quality across enterprise batch and streaming data platforms , set engineering standards, mentor senior technologists, and act as the escalation point for complex, cross‑domain data challenges in a regulated environment. Please note that this is a hands‑on, senior individual contributor role — i.e. not a people manager or delivery manager position, however your highly developed stakeholder management and people influencing ability will be key to the role’s success - complemented with your deep technical engineering skills and expertise.
