This Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant will work alongside the PCC Executive Medical Director and Director of Operations to lead and represent the APPs practicing at all Prairie Cardiovascular locations. Those locations include Springfield, Decatur, O’Fallon, Effingham, Carbondale, and outreach locations across the state of Illinois. The ideal candidate is an experienced advanced practice provider both clinically and also has experience in clinical leadership, mentorship, and/or program development. This leader will hold direct responsibility and co-chair the HSHS Physician Enterprise APP Council. This leader will also have responsibility for quality and process improvement, mentorship of PCC APPs to drive clinical excellence and professional growth, and APP recruitment. Additionally, this leader will have involvement in strategic initiatives for the HSHS Physician Enterprise.
