This position will pay a vital role in maintaining the health and safety program and ensuring continuous improvement related to Health & Safety at AirBoss. Responsibilities: Requirements: *Salary: $75,000-$110,000 a year - Manages the health and safety program and related procedures and initiatives. · - As a safety advocate leads by example by complying with all plant and occupational health and safety policies. - Provides leadership and works with all staff to continually improve health and safety performance. - Works collectively to determine goals and strategies for compliance and continuous improvement, monitors progress and celebrates successes. - Identifies workplace hazards through completion of risk assessments for existing and new/modified equipment. - Develops programs to promote a safe and healthy culture. - Ensures legislative compliance and adherence to ISO 14001 - Works proactively to develop improvement initiatives that address workplace health and safety concerns. - Acts as a professional resource for the JHSC and other workplace committees. - Maintains a strong presence on the shop floor, is approachable and communicates openly. - Completes full review of safety da...
