Education Services Coordinator

Job description

Description Position Function: The Education Services Coordinator provides direct academic support to youth in ACH’s residential programs, helping them build the skills, confidence, and structure needed for academic success. This role works closely with youth on tutoring, intervention, study habits, and individualized learning plans; collaborates with staff to reinforce educational expectations; and supports day-to-day communication with the partner school(s). The Coordinator also helps implement structured learning activities when school is not in session, ensuring continuity of learning for both short-term and long-term placements. Requirements: Education : Bachelors degree in Education, Social Work, Child Development, Psychology or related field required. Experience : Experience in teaching tutoring, academic intervention, classroom support, youth development, or after school programming required. Experience in youth residential services strongly preferred.
