About This Opportunity: The Veterinary Anaesthesia Intern is a specialised academic role within UQ VETS, embedded across the Small Animal, Equine and Production Animal Services at Gatton. Working in a highly collaborative, clinically rich teaching hospital environment, this role offers immersive, hands-on experience in veterinary anaesthesia and analgesia while contributing to undergraduate clinical teaching and scholarly activity. Supported by an experienced team of specialist anaesthetists, residents and technicians, the position is purposefully designed to build capability, confidence and readiness for future specialist training or advanced clinical practice. Key responsibilities will include: Under guidance and supervision, contribute to the anaesthetic and analgesic management of primary, emergency and referral cases across all species presenting to the Veterinary Teaching Hospital, including participation in after-hours, weekend and public holiday rosters.
