Sr Material Manager

Job description

Sr. Material Manager is a professional with extensive large to mega size material management project experience. This individual c oordinates Material Management efforts with Client/Partner, Engineers, Construction, Procurement (Expediting, Logistics, etc.) and Suppliers. This individual oversees all project level Material Management responsibilities. This position will report to the Procurement Operations Manager. This position may include managing other Material Managers at multiple locations supporting projects. - Implements Site Safety requirements to Material Management personnel. - Implements Procurement and Materials Department guidelines and policies. Develop program to distribute, train and monitor for compliance. - Develop and manage the project materials mobilization and demobilization efforts - Interview, hire, train personnel to staff project materials and data entry positions - Performance management planning and salary action review activities for all field Materials Management personnel - Manage project Logistics functions for inbound – outbound shipments - Develop and manage materials related responsibilities between the following groups: Procurement, Expediting, D...
