POSITION SUMMARY: Vertiv is seeking a Senior Engineering Technician – Root Cause Analysis (RCAR Lab) in Delaware, Ohio to support advanced failure analysis and investigative activities on returned components and systems. This role bridges the gap between a traditional test technician and a failure analysis engineer, combining hands-on lab execution with analytical problem-solving and technical reporting. This position plays a critical role in supporting Vertiv’s Root Cause Analysis (RCAR) program by executing complex test procedures, troubleshooting electrical, mechanical and thermal systems, and contributing to data-driven failure investigations. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong technical aptitude, ownership, and curiosity, with the ability to grow into a more advanced engineering-level analysis role over time.
