JOB SUMMARY: The Distribution Service Representative Lead, under the direction of the Transportation Distribution Supervisor, ensures adequate staff coverage for the pickup/delivery of specimens and supplies, develops schedule for designated areas, assists with time/attendance for employees, assists with monthly statistics for logistics department, and performs the essential functions of a Distribution Service Representative or Distribution Services Representative Floater as needed. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: - Develop or modify work plans and schedule to provide adequate staff coverage. - Ensure prompt and accurate pick up/delivery of all specimen and/or supplies for customers and other transportation activities as required by the needs of the company and the customer base. - Direct day-to-day transportation functions to ensure accurate and timely completion of work. - Maintain an accurate log of specimens, reports, and supplies picked up or dropped off on an assigned route. - Assist with time/attendance entry of employees and maintains required records and documentation. - Assist with compilation of monthly statistics and data. - Communicate pertinent information/issues to supervisor o...
