QA/QC Specialist

Job description

The QA/QC Specialist performs real-time analysis and review of extensive documentation required by federal regulations for implementing a direct incentive payment program. Job Duties: - Manages intake of funding requests from Case Managers and performs a timely review of supporting documentation related to federal and state grant program claims; accurately validates Case Manager’s determination - Serves as first-level funding approval on funding requests/applications; identifies discrepancies in supporting documentation and returns to Case Manager for resolution - Ensures proper use of grant funds and adherence to program guidelines; identifies fraudulent applications or activity and prevents inaccurate payments and recapture of funds - Uses standardized QA/QC checklists and tools for project files - Conducts routine and targeted file reviews to verify completeness, consistency, and compliance with program requirements - Documents QA/QC review results, including findings observations and recommendations, and track them to resolution - Utilizes technology to ensure transparency and accountability - Assists in preparation of real-time status reports regarding QA/QC reviews - Understa...
