Employment Type: Full time Shift: Description: Position Purpose: In accordance with the Mission and Guiding Behaviors, the Regional Director, Regulatory & Patient Safety/Risk Management Services is accountable for providing leadership, administrative direction, oversight and implementation support for regulatory compliance, patient safety, and risk reduction: Facilitates transition from a retrospective, reactive model for patient safety/risk management and regulatory compliance to a prospective, proactive approach consistent with the concepts expected of a high reliability organization. Designs, directs and facilitates implementation of effective systems for regulatory compliance and continuous survey readiness. Aligns patient safety and risk management priorities with Mount Carmel's quality and performance improvement strategic plan and with regulatory compliance initiatives. Provides education for colleagues, physicians, boards, leadership and other stakeholders on regulatory/compliance requirements and patient safety needs, initiatives and activities.
