Field Quality Control & Safety Inspector - Traveling

Job description

For over 100 years, Maguire has been an industry leader in the fabrication, construction, and maintenance of water storage tanks and elevated water towers. The Quality Control & Safety Inspector will perform regular job site safety inspections to ensure field crews & subcontractors are complying with Maguire’s safety program and policies. They will also perform quality inspections on completed work. Essential Functions: Safety: The above statements are intended to describe the general nature and level of work being performed and not an exhaustive list of all responsibilities, duties, and skills required of team members. May perform other duties as assigned. - Performs regular job site safety inspections to ensure field crews comply with Maguire Iron’s safety program policies and procedures to include but not limited to the following: - Personal Protective Equipment: Safety glasses, hard hats, face shields, respirators (air fed & cartridge) and hearing protection, steel toed boots/shoes, long sleeves/leathers etc. - Fall Protection: Harness, shock absorbing lanyards, safety lines, safety climb systems etc. - Rigging & Cranes: All rigging per SOP manual, cables, rope falls, roof ladd...
