Primary Location: Rapid City, SD USA: Department: RCH Security Scheduled Weekly Hours: 40 Starting Pay Rate Range: $17.82 - $22.27 (Determined by the knowledge, skills, and experience of the applicant.) Job Summary: In conjunction with Director of Safety Services and Security Supervisor, the Security Officer is responsible for the direct service of the Hospital's Security program. All Security Officers will ensure compliance with JCAHO, OSHA, State and local directives and guidelines. Officer will provide positive and effective communication skills with department personnel, other departments, visitors and patients of the Hospital. Officer has knowledge of all phases of the job, related methods, techniques and skills necessary for effective performance.
