Description A Coil Receiving job involves unloading, inspecting, and documenting incoming material shipments (like steel or aluminum coils, blanks), operating heavy machinery (forklifts, cranes) to move and store them, staging them for production, and performing cycle counts, with a strong focus on safety due to the weight and sharp edges of the materials. Key duties include verifying shipments against purchase orders, maintaining accurate records, ensuring proper storage, and keeping the receiving area clean and organized.
