In this position... This position provides an exciting opportunity to contribute to the manufacture of engines at Ford’s Lima Engine Plant. You will work to deliver lean, flexible and competitive manufacturing systems that power our winning portfolio of Ford Tough trucks and SUVs. We are seeking a passionate, detailed, inquisitive engineer to join our team as a Manufacturing Process Engineer working on the Crankshaft Machining Lines. This will be an onsite, full-time position. Majority of time will be spent in Lima, OH, but will also include work in SE Michigan and Cleveland, OH. What you'll do... Support development and implementation of Crankshafts and related Round Parts manufacturing systems for new powertrain programs in Ohio. Utilize machining process knowledge, particularly steel and iron metal cutting and grinding to deliver an efficient and optimized process regarding quality, costs, timing, and footprint. Support equipment installation, power on, run capability, and equipment handover to the powertrain plants.
