TITLE: Mechanical Technician - A POSITION OBJECTIVE: To support supervisor and senior mechanical technicians on all tasks and responsibilities. QUALIFICATIONS: - High school diploma or equivalent. - Vocational education desirable. - Minimum 3 years previous maintenance experience required. - Ability to read blueprints and schematics. - Ensure consistent, dependable attendance and demonstrate a willingness to accommodate non-standard work hours as necessary. - Capable of effectively managing job-related stress and fostering productive workplace interactions. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES: - Consistently demonstrates safe work habits. - Adhere to all company rules and policies. - Completely understands the plant and department safety rules. - Demonstrate good housekeeping by insuring assigned area is kept clean. - Work efficiently with other employees in order to meet plant and department goals in safety, quality, production and housekeeping. - Ability to receive constructive suggestions - Follow oral and written instructions from higher management. - Work and cooperate with other departments within the plant. - Attends scheduled department safety and training meeting. - Ability to trouble sh...
