Job Description Summary Job Description: River Road Generating Plant: Vancouver Washington: O&M Control Room Operator/Shift Supervisor: As an O&M Control Room Operator/Shift Supervisor for GE Vernova you will be responsible for the direction and execution of safe, efficient operation of a 250 MW combined cycle power plant to provide Clark Public Utilities with electrical power. The equipment includes a gas turbine engine, steam turbines, diesel engines, generators, heat recovery steam generator, air compressors, motors, pumps, and other auxiliary equipment. Essential Responsibilities and Duties: Responsible for monitoring and operating controls in the centralized control room of the combined cycle power plant to control the loading and operation of a generating unit and associated equipment. Observes operating parameters of equipment and assures that optimum operating conditions are maintained. Required to perform Plant Outside Operator duties on an as needed basis. Equipment and systems include the maintenance, repair, and operation of stationary engines and mechanical equipment to provide Clark Public Utilities with electrical power.
