We are currently seeking a Woodland Operations Supervisor to join our team. Key Responsibilities: - Supervise daily woodland operations. Reporting to Woodlands Superintendent. - Provide onboarding and orientation, coaching, and leadership for new and existing employees. - Promote and maintain a safe work environment across all work sites. - Ensure compliance with all applicable forestry and environmental requirements. - Scale/measure logs and assess wood quality. - Track and prepare reports on productivity, health and safety, and compliance. - Work efficiently with a team, share information, communicate efficiently, and provide support as needed. Qualifications and Requirements: - Experience with harvesting and wood hauling operations. - Strong health and safety focus, with a good understanding of applicable forestry and OHS requirements. - Strong problem-solving, decision-making, and analytical skills. - Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, changing environment. - Comfortable using GPS, tablets, and computers for field data collection and mapping. - Excellent communication skills: bilingualism (English and French) is an asset. - Ability to work independently with a flexible schedule...
