Location: Medical Center-Prosper Department: Pharmacy Shift: First Shift (United States of America) Standard Weekly Hours: 40 Summary: The Clinical Pharmacy Technician is a specialized, advanced role for certified pharmacy technicians. The Clinical Pharmacy Technician promotes the provision of comprehensive pharmacy services throughout the patient stay by providing accurate medication history services, coordinating medication distribution processes, supporting the clinical pharmacist in the delivery of optimal pharmaceutical care, and managing medication needs at discharge. Clinical Pharmacy Technicians must also be proficient in general pharmacy technician duties of the Pharmacy Department. All activities are done in accordance with established policies, procedures, and regulations with the health and welfare of the patient paramount. Education and Experience: High School or equivalent required. Minimum of three years of experience as a pharmacy technician. Pharmacy technician experience in a pediatric setting preferred.
